A whole new world

"Hmm, alone, but I should be used to it, I was always alone, even when I was...home..." Benjamin said to himself quietly as he wondered the streets of this large city. "I have been here before, but, now, its not on a mission" he grits his teeth angrily, "I'm going to have to find somewhere to stay, and food....and.." he sniff himself "a bath would be wonderful at this time". He looks around the city, "I am also going to need money, not used to that...I guess I can do odd jobs for people...or something..." he lifts his head with hope and smiles, but it soon fades, "I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I'M GOOD AT BESIDES HUNTING!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"...His head drops and he sighs, "I am going to starve...." He walks off head down. He started to wonder this large city, going to every store that he could find, asking for a job, shelter, and food, but he kept being waved off..."Must be the way I look...or smell..." He sighs again and keeps wondering around.

  Halfway though the night, cold, and hungry he noticed something down a dark alleyway, a man forcing himself onto a young woman "His soul...his...Different...he is a vampire..." he says to himself with a scowl, "now while I am around!" he shouts down the alleyway "Hey, You...Scum!" he yells, and he smiles "Pick one someone your own size..." Benjamin actually not being that tall around 5'9", was actually happy for this moment "I need some stress release anyways!" he smirks evilly as he walks down the alleyway to the vampire. The vampire turns to the young man and laughs "You? YOU? Your going to stop...ME?" He laughs loudly "You have no CLUE who you are dealing with...Boy..."  Boy? I'll show you Boy!, and with that Benjamin draws his sword quickly, now only standing 6 feet away from the vampire "don't worry mam, I'll take care of this...evil..." Benjamin's instincts kicked in quickly as the vampire lunged at him, he quickly dodged the first couple of attacks easily. Your easy to read... Benjamin says as he quickly slashes down the vampire's chest, but the vampire was just quick enough to move back and had only been grazed by the attack "Your fast boy...But your not half as fast as me!". The vampire made a quick movement, which almost blurred at his speed, "I have you NO......." The vampire was interrupted quickly due to the movement of Benjamin's sword and it stopped a hairs thickness away from the vampires neck "You are not as fast as you think." And with a quick movement sliced though the vampires neck, leaving his body, motionless, and his head on the ground. "Are you alright, mam?" He looks at the woman, who was shocked at what just happened, "Are you Hurt? Are you alright mam? She shakes her head yes, and stands. "Who.....who are you?", Benjamin smiles at the woman and shakes his head "Nobody, mam....Just a friend in the dark... And with that said, he turns and walks off...

Boring humans, boring vampires, boring hunters and boring reapers. Every day was the same old shit. But alas, he had finally discovered at least some form of amusement. Chuckling, lowly, darkly he tilted his head to the side as he sniffed at the scent of the human hunter. Blindfolded, with a giant collar around his neck, he had quite an interesting look.

"Such wasted talent....the hunter's guild has truly grown weaker over the centuries without Zero it seems..." he mused lowly as he titled his head in the direction of the human. "Of course, every now and then, I do manage to come across those who are actually amusing...but very seldom do they catch my attention as much as you...of course, I doubt I'd be able to convince you to convert to my side, would I?" he questioned as he kept his head turned in the direction of the human.

Benjamin places his hand back onto his sword, looking at the man before him "Convert?? what do you mean by this?" Benjamin Glares at the Blindfolded man again..."Vampire? hmmm, your soul looks... different... from other vampires I have encountered." Benjamin stands strait up, hand still on his sword...But, sese you have not attacked me yet...I guess I could introduce myself...at the very least..." He bows, but only slightly, keeping his eye on the man before him I am Benjamin Cross, Ex Hunter...And you might be?" he says as he stands back up strait.

Tilting his head to the side, he let a smirk spread across his features. "Vampire, pet...dog...depends on who's asking..." he mused lowly. "As for attacking...I'm not here to attack people...unless of course they try to go through the gates..." he said, shrugging a little as he spoke.

"Kyoki Inu..." he responded simply.

Benjamin raises an eyebrow... "Gates? now that seems interesting..." He tilts his head slightly and nods "what is this gate that you speak of....so I may...if at all costs it seems, Avoid it..." He smirks, letting his hand slip from his sheathed sword, as he approaches the man. "I am not accustomed to doing this, but, I was wanting to know something." Benjamin takes a deep breath and sighs. "I was wanting to know if there was somewhere, I could...Possibly...Find work...shelter...and maybe...something to eat.... Benjamin still weary of vampires, allows his guard down, but only slightly, still keeping this man in his sight.

Snorting, he tilted his head to the other side, much akin to a confused dog. "The gates to Tusin Sekai...the other world in which my master resides most of the time..." he explained lowly, smirk still in place. "I am the guardian along with my brothers..." he said as he kept his head facing in the direction of the man.

"Careful...don't over step your boundaries...I'm still a vampire after all...even if I am bound to my master's command to not attack a human...I still prefer space..." he told him lowly, stepping back as he let his over-sized sleeves drag the ground. Messy, unkempt hair, over-sized collar, and blindfolded. Even so, he could still 'see' and sense around him. "As for work...if you're searching for a place to stay and a job...I can only suggest you speak with Aoi..."

Benjamin Nods and takes a step back from the man. "I am sorry for....over stepping my boundaries if I do." thinking back at all the times that he went against his masters before, and he smiled slightly. And this...Aoi Person...how may I get in touch with them?" He stands strait up, noticing that this vampire is a lot more powerful then he has fought before. Benjamin new the name Tusin Sekai, He has been told about it before, more of a myth then actual fact, but the same could be said about vampires and werewolves, and to guard such a place...Benjamin knew that this man was more then someone he had fought before. "But, as you said before, I do need a place to stay, and, a job would be nice, sense I left my order to find my own way...that is..."

Chuckling, he brought his hand up to raise the blindfold and opened his crimson eyes, letting his gaze fall on the man before him. To actually see Kyoki's eyes was often a death sentence, or at rare times, it was a blessing. "Easiest way to talk to Aoi is to let me report back to him...or follow me through the gates...but my youngest brother may try to attack you...his manners are quiet horrible these days..." he said lowly, scanning over Benjamin as he spoke.

"Of course, another way is to find him...though that one...is easier with me around...since Zero is always here on Earth working with the Reapers, it's possible that Mujo would know something...and finding Mujo is much easier..." Kyoki explained lowly as he finally brought his crimson gaze to meet Benjamin's own. "Oh, and to answer your question from earlier...I meant transition...as in, becoming a vampire..." he said, answering one of Benjamin's earlier questions offhandedly.

Benjamin's head tilts slightly to the side, as he stares into the vampires eyes, "Your eyes, there red like mine... he says under his breath, Benjamin shakes his head slightly, and returns to his original thought. "So this, Mujo, are they as, how to say this, as protective as your brother?" Benjamin keeps trying to relax but knowing that this vampire stood before him still made him uneasy, even if he is trying to find his own place in this world... "And, my second question is, how do I find, Mujo? Benjamin raises his head, still keeping a sharp sense of his surroundings, Just in case. "And to answer your question, about becoming a vampire, I think I may pass on that offer for now..." Benjamin says as he gives a slight grin and a tilts his head slightly.

He licked his lips and chuckled lowly. "Protective isn't the word for it...he's still a child...in may aspects...and he's not been trained well...in fact, father trained him to attack and kill anything that moves...so I've been having a rather difficult time breaking him from his old habits...however, he's become much easier to handle..." he explained lowly.

"As for Mujo...normally, just mentioning his name brings him snooping around...he must be busy today...which is rather amusing...means Zero has given him a lot of souls to reap..." he mused, glancing up at the sky as if he half expected Mujo to be floating there. If he were to be honest with himself, he actually was half expecting Mujo to be there.

But when he heard Benjamin's answer about becoming a vampire, he snorted a little and chuckled lowly, darkly. There were many things about Kyoki that one could tell weren't quiet right. His laugh only served to make that much more clear. A crazy man who would kill if his master but allowed it...he was certainly not someone one wanted to meet on a good day, let alone a bad one. However, there were rare occasions in which Kyoki found someone amusing enough to keep alive, and Benjamin just happened to be one such rarity.

He shakes his head slowly, actually enjoying the mans company, It us explainable but he felt a slight calm being around something he is normally accustomed to fighting. "So, apparently I have one of two options...And that is Find this gate or Mujo on my own, and Hopefully survive, or, follow you to one of two destinations." He sighs slightly and shakes his head again and a slight chuckle rolls from his lips. "well, It appears I am at your whim, sense we both know what I used to do, and the fact that I am about as lost as a person could possibly be in this...." Benjamin looks around the area. "This...place... with these normal people." His gaze goes back to the man standing in front of him. "I am not accustomed to saying this, but, my life is in your hands I suppose..." He says with a sigh...

He walked forwards a vampire with silver piercing his body all of his own doing. Although truthfully he was only walking alone because at the moment Aoi had Yasei. Who.......had gotten into a fight with Jigoku yet again. Or rather he caught wind of a human and got a bit wild and bad timing on when Aoi was around the gates. Whoops....Jigoku was sent off....not to bring Kyoki back oh no.....he wasn't to be around while Aoi handled the pup.

"Your life......if you don't want to be a vampire suggesting that your life is in his hands is perhaps not the best way to put it with Aniki." Jigoku said as he walked up having stumbled across them. Hand in his pocket.

Down his chest was a rather nasty set of gouges where Yasei's fangs sank in and dug deep enough that it was even taking Jigoku's ability to heal a while to catch up. Blood running down his shirt and jeans and yet he didn't look like he was in pain at all because he wasn't. It was a mess yes pain no. "Aoi told me to wander for a bit......which is why I'm not where you told me to be." Jigoku said shifting knowing his brothers wrath for disobedience all to well.

He snorted at Benjamin's words. "Careful now...you may end up regretting those words..." he warned lowly.

But when he heard Jigoku's voice, Kyoki's head had snapped around to glare daggers at his younger brother. Even with Aoi commanding him to leave...to wander this far into the city without his permission...

Growling and baring his fangs, he spoke lowly, darkly, "You were not given permission to leave the vicinity of the gates...to wander this far into the city, you have completely disobeyed me..." Anger, dark anger radiated from Kyoki as he glared darkly at his brother.

He smiles and takes a couple steps back, his hand place again onto the hilt of his sword. "You have to love the way people treat each other." He says under his breath, spotting the other vampire quickly due to his sight. "I am guessing that this is a colleague of yours?" He keeps his eyes fixed on the two vampires. He bends down and places a finger on the ground and says a couple of words, a small symbol appears on the ground and Benjamin stands back up. "I am not saying that I would never be a vampire, just saying that At this moment in time, I would rather stay who I am...until I can figure out my own path in life." He shrugs "At this time anyways." his hand still on his the hilt of his sword, keeping his eyes on the two.

Jigoku sighed as he looked at Ben who made a mark on the ground and wrinkled his nose oh joy warding magic that stunk to high heaven.....his nose continued to wrinkle before he sneezed and blinked plus his brother being angry. "Aoi's order's were....." pause to sneeze. "To leave the vicinity and scent range of the gate I was to travel until I could not longer scent him......Yasei was a bit hyper and Aoi not in a good mood........."

Jigoku sighed pulled his hand out of pocket and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Is that really necessary? Believe it or not..........that magic stinks....." He looked annoyed and sighed before answering his question. "Not colleague so much as one of his two younger brothers who is likely about to get my ass kicked for obeying Aoi and disobeying him."

Dark anger was still directed towards his younger brother, but he did turn for a few moments to speak to Benjamin. "He's my little brother, one of two...Yasei being the youngest..." he explained lowly, and shrugged at the vampire comment. "As I said before, I follow my master's orders...so you're safe for now...however, that isn't to say that you won't change your mind once meeting my master...Aoi has his ways of changing people's minds..."

But the moment Jigoku told him about Aoi's orders, he shot him another cold, dark glare. "Shift...now..." he commanded lowly, angrily as he himself shifted into his true form, the giant dog towering over the smaller buildings of the city.

"Whoa...That is one big animal..." he says as he takes a couple of steps backwards from where he was, still staring at the now large animal in front of him. "this is a first for me, I have fought many things before, but nothing that large, and..." He shakes his head, hoping it was just a mirage or spell, but it was no such thing. "this powerful, his power is, very strong." He reaches over to the nearest building and starts climbing it, just to get a better advantage point and safer distance. "To be Honest, do you think it is smart to do something like this in the middle of the city?" Benjamin yells, trying to be the voice of reason.

Jigoku cringed he was in for the beating of his life to be told to transform. He did as he was told though not wanting to make Kyoki any madder at him.....although truth be told he was sick and hadn't transformed for a while....the illness affected his transformation. The brutal sound of bones breaking of skin ripping could be heard as he took his true form. The large black dog stood there new and bone showing in places it should not be.... and yet he turned his ears back and down a submissive gesture to Kyoki.....the one thing he did NOT do was whine.....

Growling and baring his fangs, he glared at his younger brother. Sick or not, an order was an order and Jigoku had not gotten his permission to ignore those orders. "I told you what to do, and you disobeyed...now you know what's coming..." he told his younger brother lowly, but rose his head a moment to look at Benjamin.

"The city has seen many things before, they have learned to ignore it..." he told him before he turned his attention back to his little brother and bared his fangs before he pounced, massive jaws snapping and tearing at Jigoku's throat and legs and chest. Angry, but he was the oldest, and the one in control. He was their leader, the alpha. He was to punish them when they did wrong, no matter what.

Benjamin's anger rose, to see something like this, Orders or not a brother is a brother, and he believed that it should not be this way, plus the buildings and its people where in danger from this. "EEEENNNNOOOOUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!!!" he screamed as power pulsed through his body. "They are Innocents around!" his hand slams onto his sword, and he quickly draws it out. "I Will not Allow you to destroy anything or harm anyone around!" And with that he says a couple of words and slashes his sword from a downward position to an upward position, the sword slash carried though the air like a wave, and a powerful barrier passed in between the two giant dogs, but nothing was destroyed. "I am sorry to do that, but I will not allow this to happen while I am around." He sighs greatly "But I will have to take Kyoki's side on this, Orders are orders, and you have failed them..." So with that being said, Benjamin take off in the opposite direction, as fast as he can, and after a moment the ward drops to let them do as they wish.

Orders were order's.....order's from Kyoki could not be ignored nor could order's from Aoi who they served so no matter what he would be punished....it started low when that human agreed that he should be punished after stopping Kyoki who would now punish him far worse.....the growl was low dangerous feral and angry.... his ears pinned back.....


Attacking Kyoki was anything but wise but that didn't. Stop him from growling for barring fangs....for showing the wild dangerous side that he kept such tight control of.....

Kyoki's ears went back as he bared his fangs and growled. Low, dark, dangerous and angry. If he was to keep the respect of his brothers, he was to punish disobedience, and stupidity before it lead to his downfall. A complex inner working that a human couldn't possibly hope to understand, and yet here was a human trying to stop him from doing his job.

Bringing his massive head up to level with Benjamin, he glared down at him before speaking, "I warn you now, stay out of this or so help me, I will revert to my old self and ignore my master's orders...this is not your place, so keep silent!" he said lowly, coldly as he snapped his massive jaws at Benjamin, not making an effort to actually stop him from running away. That wasn't his priority right now.

Turning back to Jigoku, he looked at him. A young dog, but a sick dog. However, Kyoki held no sympathy nor kindness to him when it came to his 'pack' mentality, so he would ignore it until he was certain his brother grasped the concepts that he had not before getting punished. "Jigoku, have you gotten the idea yet? or do you need more?" he asked lowly, as he rose his head and ears to look down at Jigoku.

Jigoku looked over at him feeling sick tired and not really wanting to do anything wanting to deal with anything he laid down where he was curled up and stopped growling. Did he understand did he need more of a beating for disobeying Kyoki and obeying Aoi? No he didn't.

"Yes Aniki...I've gotten the idea..." He answered after a moment as he laid there, the silver in his body dulled his pain receptors, however it did nothing for the neasua and feverish feeling he was going through. The bones in his legs in his body shifted it wasn't fun and right now all he wanted to do was lay down he felt better when he laid down.

Benjamin stop after getting quite a while away, far enough so he could not see the two massive dogs again. "I Understand orders, and I Understand having to be punished for ignoring them, But that is one of the reasons I had left where I was." he shakes his head and looks around. "Maybe I'll just do what every other normal person does...Drink my pain away." he says with a low voice as he approaches a nearby bar.

He rustles around his pockets, he had little cash, but he figured it was enough to drink the toughs from his mind anyways. He walks into the bar, still angry and confused about everything and sits at a dark corner. "Bring me something Cheep and strong." he says to the bartender. "And keep them coming until I have to work to earn my next one."

Sighing, he closed his eyes and shifted back into his human form. He loved his brothers, and knew the pain that Jigoku was in. All of the giant dogs, the Inu clan, ha to live through becoming an adult...and it hurt. Growing into an adult body for an Inu hurt like hell.
"Go ahead and shift back...and go home...go home and go to bed before I change my mind..." he told Jigoku lowly, but there were hints of compassion and understanding. He had already went through his growing pains, so he certainly understood.

And when he had told Jigoku to go home, he turned and sniffed the air, and wrinkled his nose. "That idiot...now I'll have to take him to let him sleep it off..." he said lowly in annoyance and began to walk, heading towards where Benjamin was.
